Don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by life in the academic fast track. These workshops are designed to help you work smarter, not harder.
The world of digital scholarship is exciting and ever evolving. We are privileged to have many leading experts in the field here at IU. As research initiatives increasingly rely on technology as a significant mode for inquiry, the Digital Initiatives series will address cutting-edge and emerging topics that shape this new scholarly endeavor. Join us this semester to learn more about computational analysis, topic modeling, open-access publishing, metadata, digital preservation and more.
New digital tools for research are popping up everywhere (Google Fusion Tables! Scrivener! Browzine! NVivo!), so quickly that it's hard to decide which ones to adopt and when. These sessions introduce new tools that other IU researchers have tested and found useful, as well as favorites such as EndNote and Zotero.
This Fall 2014 semester, look forward to Spotlights On: The Sciences, Open Access, IU Authors, and Designing Research-based Writing Assignments. Join us for stimulating discussions and workshops.
